The Missouri Academy of Audiology was founded in 1994 by a group of Missouri audiologists who planned on establishing a state organization run by and for audiologists. The new organization would be uniquely sensitive to the professional issues and the professional concerns affecting Missouri audiologists. Mission Statement
The mission of the Missouri Academy of Audiology is committed to advancing auditory and vestibular health care through science, research, technology, education, and clinical practice. The mission is to lead a unified profession through effective education and advocacy programs; and to promote the prevention, diagnosis, management and treatment of auditory and vestibular disorders.
